Morning Walk - Tips

Morning Walk - Tips

1. ONLY walk, (walk alone, walk without listening to any music, walk with your thoughts only).

2. Don't walk in groups, you are probably disturbing someone else's walking or jogging rhythm.

3. Carry your OWN water bottle EVERYDAY and drink water in between, sipping it rather than gulping it down in large quantities after the walk.

4. Wear comfortable clothes.

5. Walk only after 6.00 am or after sunrise and the return deadline should be 8.00 am.

6. Walk for at least 30 minutes - brisk walking. The way to measure your speed is just not to allow anyone to overtake you and if possible overtake everyone who is walking. If the walk is slower than brisk, then increase the time from at least 45 minutes to an hour.

7.  While walking breathe only through your nose and focus on the inhaling and exhaling process.

8. Walk in a dedicated park, not on the road. If you must walk on the road, walk on the right side of the road so you can see the on coming traffic. To avoid the pollution and traffic walk in a park, which will also give the added benefit of pure oxygen from the plants present.

9. Follow up the walk with about 15 minutes of stretching exercises.

10. Walk everyday to lead a healthy life.
